Best part of being a Salina Symphony musician:
Delight and excitement of making music with such a great group of friends, musicians and with dedicated leaders, first Eric Stein, then Ken Hakoda. And now the new adventure with Yaniv Segal. I treasure all these years of making music with these fine people.
Most memorable performance with the Salina Symphony:
Celebration concert in memory of Eric Stein.
Favorite composer:
This week it is Elgar! How can one have a ‘favorite’? May change with the seasons.
What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?
Chamber music, symphonic music – most of all, cello music!
How do you spend your free time?
Every day’s a holiday and every meal’s a feast – thus all time is ‘free’ in my eyes.
Whom do you admire?
Skilled and talented musicians – especially young people such as the recent soloists with the Salina Symphony. They amaze me.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
