Having tears roll down onto my violin when my mom made me practice.

Best part of being a Salina Symphony musician:
Doing something totally different from what I normally do. I really enjoy being able to play with this group of dedicated musicians.

Most memorable performance with the Salina Symphony:
The Tribute Concert for Eric Stein after his passing.

What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?
I enjoy a wide variety, but my favorites are old Country & Western, Bluegrass & Classical.  (Maybe not in that order.)

How do you spend your free time?
I live on a farm, which keeps me very busy, but I enjoy riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, camping and anything outdoors with my wife, Tami.

Whom do you admire?
Ken Hakoda. He has done an outstanding job with the Symphony, Youth Symphony, Kansas Wesleyan University, and the community. He works tirelessly for the arts in Salina.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
Being married to my wife, Tami, for over 26 years, and raising my son, Casey.  And now having my first grandchild Macy Joe Lamer.
