Job Title:
Senior Systems Analyst, Salina Regional Health Center, for 35 years.

Earliest musical memory:
There was a lot of singing on car trips with my family and singing in church. My father was a great singer and had a very good bass voice. He taught harmony when I did not even know what the word harmony meant.

Best part of being a Salina Symphony musician:
I enjoy the camaraderie and pride in contribution by being a Salina Symphony musician. Making music in a group such as the symphony stretches my brain.

Most memorable performance with the Salina Symphony:
It has always been a tremendously rewarding experience to play in front of the Eisenhower Library and Museum in Abilene.

How do you spend your free time?
I enjoy group Music activities, reading and watching sports.

Whom do you admire?
My parents, Don and Oneita, and my grandparents, John & Ethel Chestnut were great people. They lived what they believed.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
I consider raising children and helping them to raise grandchildren as my greatest accomplishment.
