Session I: Violin, Viola or Cello

Two group lessons per week for eight weeks

Two parents' lessons

Students will learn the basics of playing their
instruments and reading music, and will play several songs from
Suzuki Book 1.

A recital will end the session.
Session II: Violin, Viola or Cello
$100

Two group lessons per week for eight weeks
-
Intermediate group lessons will be offered
for children who have successfully completed Session 1 or who have
played their instrument in their school orchestra program for at
least one year.

The class will be a continuation of concepts
previously learned, will move forward in Suzuki Book 1, and will add
several new and intermediate playing concepts.

A recital will end the session.
Session III and Session IV: Violin Only
$100 (or $150 to participate in both Exploratory Sessions)

One group lesson and one exploratory session per
week for eight weeks

Intermediate violin group lessons will be offered
for children who have successfully completed the previous sessions.

Students will be given the choice to attend one of
two weekly exploratory sessions focusing on either learning about
the other instruments of the violin family or about the fun and
science of rhythm and music.

The class will be a continuation of concepts
previously learned, will move forward in the Suzuki Violin Books,
and will begin work in Wohlfahrt Foundation Studies for the Violin.
The class will add several new and intermediate violin playing
concepts.
